* Construction *

Base		: gp2btn V1.0 
       
Editor(s) used	: BC 3.1 built in editor
Known Bugs	: Some keyboard controllers do not reply correctly.
                  (No solution known)
		  Cursor keys (Arrows) do not work.
		  NumLock key must be OFF, if keys from numerical block
		  should be used.
Build Time	: 7 days


* Installation *

Copy gp2btn.exe and btnconf.exe on your harddisk.
Use btnconf.exe <name of config-file> to set up your keys.

Run gp2btn <name of config-file> before you start gp2
to install TSR.
Run gp2
Run gp2btn.exe after finishing gp2 to deinstall the TSR.


* Other Information *

This utility allows you to emulate keys with joystickbuttons.

The emulated keys are stored in a config-file.
To set up your keys start btnconf <name of config-file>.
The specified file will be overwritten
(if a file with such a name exists).

If you want to assign only one key to a button, you have to
assign this key for short-time and long-time action.


The program was also tested with gp2 in linked mode. 

The program does NOT run in Windows 95 !!
