Description : The epic Spa-Francorchamps circuit, in Ardennes Forest in eastern Belgium, now has a updated version for our beloved GP2. With a more accurate Eau Rouge (made by rremedio), several current adverts (made by Antonio) a lot of revised scenery, and a new cc-line (made by rremedio), you surely could feel driving in this 7.004 kms track like the real one. There is no too much to say about Spa-Francorchamps, a almost centennial circuit, since its first motorcycle there in 1921!

Other Works : I stopped to count my previous works, from 2001 to now, maybe some dozens of GP2 tracks around the world... :)
Thanks to : Paul Hoad for the Trackeditor, Object editor and Jam editor.
Geoff Crammond for making Grand Prix 2.
			  Andreas Schulz for grandprix2.de
Tim de Klein, Thomas Kost, Michael Raballand for a lot of GP2 tracks and textures
			  rremedio for Spa 2015

Build Time : Antonio's work: aroung 10 days during the 2020 coronavirus quarantine in early April

* Installation *
1.
(if you already have new tracks on the game jump to STEP 2):
patch the game with a util that obliges the game to read the tracks
from the harddisk. These utils are gp2nocd or trakonhd.
Search for one of them on the net and install it. This program will
create a new directory called "circuits": you have to copy there
ALL the 16 track files (F1ct01, F1ct02...........F1ct16)

2.
Place the 'SPA19' directory from the ZIP file into the Gp2 'gamejams' directory.

3.
Place Spa-Francorchamps_Belgium_2019.dat file in the circuits directory. It runs the best in slot 11. Others slots was not tested.

4.
Start Gp2 and drive...........

If your pc breaks, goes slow, or the files harm your machine it's not my

* In 1939 the old Spa circuit was shortened when the hairpin Virage de la Ancienne Douanne was replaced by the fast Eau Rouge and Raidillon turns.
** In 1994 a chicane was installed in the left side of Eau Rouge, to slow down F-1 cars in that turn, due the previous accidents of 1994 F-1 season.
*** In 2008 Felipe Massa was declared the winner after a 25 seconds penalty on Lewis Hamilton (the actual winner on the track) due a pass by on Bus Stop chicane when dueling for the win against Kimi Raikkonen.
