Re: Static car previews
Hey guys. On the GP2.de website, some of the carsets and car liveries have static displays of the cars in their new artwork. How have people managed to create such a preview? Is there a tool that can create pictures of cars in their static livery that I don't know about? Thanks in advance. Screensh...

Re: New tracks for GP2 - Antonio Pessoa
After being a lurker for almost 5 years, I've decided it was about time to join the forum and thank you for the amazing work with the GP2 tracks. =D> Unfortunately, I don't think there will be many more track designers besides you and Michael82, so it makes even more special that you're still produ...

Re: Pit stops in 50/100 race distance
The way I would do it would be edit the pitstop strategies in the track file as usual. Edit the number of laps in the track file to half distance and run the race as a 100% race.

Re: Formula 3 carsets and packages
rremedio, I hope you can help me with an issue regarding the configuration for a F3 race... I usually set the engine power around ~400 and all goes well until by the end of the race (last 5 laps or so), when I start lapping considerably faster than AI cars. How do I fix that problem (probably somet...

New site
Hi there! I'm probably going to write a lot of unnecessary ramblings here so the TLDR: I created https://grandprix2.racing/ so we have a place to upload our files since AAS hasn't been available to update grandprix2.de It is not intended to replace grandprix2.de in any way, just allow us to have our...

Re: GP2 Cheat Engine Memory Addresses
I'm just trying to mod the game, does anybody have any interesting memory addresses for the game? (preferably for DosBox 0.74, base pointer 0x01D3A1A0) I only managed to find all speed data, made kind of a VSC and also found fuel data in Cheat Engine. Maybe someone has already found other addresses...

Re: 80's f1 mods
yeah to install the tracks you don´t need an editor. Unless you mean the "convert.exe" to install the jams, in that case you have to run it on DosBox. Let us know exactly your problem and in any case...welcome to the forum! Ciao friends, thank you very much for your replies. Actually my biggest pro...

Hi, guys! I want to apologize, especially to new forum members, for being so slow recently to approve your posts. We have a policy of requiring a user to have his first 3 posts approved by mods before he can post without approval. This is because the vast majority of new users we get are spam bots a...

Re: F1 Career
Hi rremedio Thank you for your info on this. I really appreciate this. Yes you are right I should have and meant to say 16bit not 32bit. My mistake. I have numerous old laptops and I know one is still on 32bit Vista. I'll try install and run on that and make a zip package. If it works should I post...

I mean the 1999 TP by Matti Laitinen. It is very similar to the 2000 TP available in grandprix2.de.

Re: F1 Career
32bit programs usually work on 64bits systems. The problem is probably the same as with GP2Edit that has a 16bit installer so the software itself runs on 64bits since it is a 32bits program, but you can't install it because the installer is 16bits. The workaround was to make a zip package with the i...

Re: TRACK PACKS???
I don't have files to share but maybe some info. This is all I remember regarding track packs: grandprix2.de has the 2000 F1 track pack by Matti Laitinen. In my opinion, most of the tracks included there have been surpassed by other versions, and the tracks that don't use original GP2 layouts have c...

Re: Help with adding tracks
Get the names working you just need to start GP2 via GP2Lap and it will recognize the correct track names.
To get the menu pictures changed you will need to GetHiPic and related utilities. I don't know how to do it but someone else here should be able to help you.
