I am using Linux, so I tried to run the magic editor with WINE and it would not start.
Do you know what operating system I should try this with? I have a windows 7 virtual machine as well. I can install another if needed.

Re: Magic Data Editor
I don't want any "modified timing values" for my laptimes. I want them to be 100% accurate. I assume I can achieve this by changing all of the timing values (for racing and qualifying) to a set number, for all slots... does anyone know the number I would have to change this to so time is not either ...

Re: how many teams (or cars) is it possible to have in a carset?
I see- I wish there was a way to get it so that all 28 could race. Right now I am racing with a carset that has 27 cars and one driver always fails to qualify.

how many teams (or cars) is it possible to have in a carset?
I just downloaded a 1986 carset and I love it. It's such a great thing to be able to have with so many classic names. For the players car, I like the idea of making a fictional car for me to drive so I don't have to "be" one of the real drivers. Is the maximum 28 or 26 cars? I installed gp2edit, and...

Re: Calibrating my steering wheel and pedals for GP2 (being played through dosbox in linux)
Thank you- I actually figured out what I needed to do. There was a control option that asked me to "steer all the way to the left", then "right". Then "full throttle", then "full braking". I forget the name, it worked like a charm though.

Re: New to GP2 - help with USB wheel and pedals
Have you had any luck? I am in a similar situation as you, I have a logitech driving force gt steering wheel and pedal set. I am able to get it to work but I am having issues because the GAS and BRAKE pedals are on different "joysticks" and different "axises".

Calibrating my steering wheel and pedals for GP2 (being played through dosbox in linux)
I recently installed GP2, and Dosbox. I have a Logitech Driving Force GT steering wheel and pedals set. I am trying to get it set up so that the brakes, accelerator pedal and steering work. When I use the wheel, it shows it as Joypad-A for the left and right turning motion. This is not a problem. Wh...

Re: GP2 and GP2 editing on Linux!
I am new to this forum but I used to play GP2 as a kid. I am now trying to get it to work again. Right now for about a year I have been playing Indycar Racing 2 from papyrus on DOSbox through linux. I have it working good. I am trying to locate GP2 to get this one going as well.
