Here are 2 random screenshots taken at Estoril. I think they give a good review.
Image
On Pole we see the Jaguar XJR-14, a Peugeot 905 completes the front row. On 3rd position we see the Sauber Mercedes C291 and on position 3-6 there are again these cars. Then the Spice SE90C of Cor Euser and Charles Zwolsman follows and one position further down we see the Le Mans-winning Mazda 787B driven by Volker Weidler/Johnny Herbert/Bertrand Gachot.
Image
On this pic we see again the Mazda and in front the Spice SE90C, so the Mazda-drivers couldn't win a position at the start. Both cars are followed by the beautiful Courage Cougar C26S which is powered by a Porsche engine.

On my GP2-sportscars-page I made an overview of the cars that are included in the set. Every car is presented with a screenshot! Click here!
Now I only have to finish some small details and one bigger thing...

Just had a look at the aforementioned overview... They look awesome! Shame you can't get the purple of the Jag in the GP2 pallette but it still looks good!

I could have tried to use some red colour palette, but in the end blue looks better imo. Tbh I was wondering myself a bit when I read your post, I had almost forgotten that the Jaguar was purple in reality!

I reckon the blue is a pretty good compromise. Shame GP2 doesn't have a bigger pallette really, colours such as purple (as in the Jag) and aqua-marine (as in the Leyton House cars of the late '80's and early '90's) would make life easier!

And once again I'm planning a change for the carset. I'll make 2 sets:

1st set: Race 1-4
It will include the actual carshape and all 'normal' cars.

2nd set: Race 5-8
This set will have a carshape that includes one car which will have a two-tier rear wing (like used at the Jaguar, Peugeot Evo1 bis & the Brun C91). In the set I'll include the Peugeot Evo1 bis, the Brun C91 and the Konrad KM-011 as regular cars.

Set 1 will be out when I finally have finished the cockpit, which causes me a lot of work and troubles.

Set 2 will follow a bit later (Peugeot Evo1 bis, Brun C91 and the carshape still have to be made).

Somehow I got the feeling the set is ready. I'll release it this evening.
