GP2 Slots and Tyre Editor 1.1 by rremedio

This little editor is able to edit the Magic Data and the tyre data in GP2.

The magic data controls various slot relative settings that make racing different from slot to slot,
even if you use the same track.

Several value meaning are still unknown. If you discover something, please let me know.

The tyre data controls the wear and grip for each tyre type. There are 4 tyre types in GP2
(from which you may select one for each track). They are designed in the original game to
simulate F1 season 1994. Now you can change it to simulate modern F1 cars (that get
better laptimes while fuel is consumpted) or any type of car you want).

Known settings: -
Magic Data -
tyre wear This is the same as the tyre wear you can edit in the Track Editor. If you use GP2Lap, the value used in the game is the one in the track .dat file (edited in TE) ,
if you don't use GP2Lap, the value used will be this one you edit in GP2STE. Bigger values will make the tyres wear faster. This factor affects the human player only!
slot grip This values an overall grip level for the slot, it works in both Qualifying and Race sessions. It affects only the ccs.
qual grip This value sets the cc performance for qualifying. Higher values give better performance.
race grip This value sets the cc performance for Race sessions. Higher values give better performance.
Unknown 5 It affects the cc behavior when the race starts or when he leaves the pits. If you put a high value, the ccs may miss some corners in the first lap.
The values for all slots are 1024, 1280, 1536 or 2048 (4*256, 5*256, 6*256 or 8*256, if you look the exe in the hex editor you will se a 4, 5, 6, or 8)
Unknown 6 Values are somewhat near Unknown 5, but they have a great variety. I doesn't affect laptimes. I have no idea about what it does.
qual grip 2 cc grip in qualifying- similar to Qual Grip.         In original GP2 they have always the same value for qualy and race.
race grip 2 cc grip in race/practice- similar to Race Grip.    In original GP2 they have always the same value for qualy and race.
qual timing Changes the time speed, so you can adjust laptimes in qualifying whitout changing performances. Higher values give slower laptimes.
race timing Changes the time speed, so you can adjust laptimes in Race sessions whitout changing performances. Higher values give slower laptimes.
semi pro grip Adjusts the cc performance in semi-pro level. Value 16384 gives the same performance than ace level, lower values give slower laps, and higher values faster laps. Pro level performance will be between semi-pro and ace. It doesn't affect rookie or amateur levels.
Unknown 12 It's always close to Semi-pro grip value, maybe they are related. It doesn't mean Pro level grip and it's not a race factor for semi-pro level. I doesn't affect laptimes.
Maybe it will affect some behavior in the race? Or maybe it affects lower levels? I didn't test it. In fact I have no idea about what it does.
cc mistake rate higher values will make the ccs miss the corners more times.
Unknowns 14, 15, 16 and 17 Values too high (around 60000) are probably negative, value - 65536 (i.e. 65024=> 65536-65024=-512). But I couldn't find any clue about their meaning.
Unknown 18 Always 64 in all slots. Probably useless. I should have taken it off from the data.
distance to pit in distance before the pitlane (in track units) where the ccs will leave the ccline to join the pitlane. It also affects human players.
distance to pit out distance after the pitlane (in track units) where the ccs will join the ccline again.
pit in speed cc speed after he leaves the ccline to join the pitlane.
human fuel comsumption It's the fuel comsumption for human players. Higher values makes the car comsume more fuel.
It's not the same as the Fuel Load value in the track editor. That values gives you the amount of fuel loaded in each lap.
ccs fuel comsumption the same as Human Fuel, but it works for the ccs.
Unknown 24 It has a slight effect in cc laptimes. Maybe it's a finetune to Fuel consumptions?

Tyre Data -
Tyre Wear Higher values will make the tyres wear faster.
Tyre grip Higher values give more grip. Do not use values lower than 16384. It will give strange results.

Overall CC Grip Level These factors work in a similar way than magic data's Qual Grip and Race Grip, but they affect cc performance in all slots at the same time.
GP2 default is 16588 for both qualy and race.
