Description : Lime Rock Park was built in early 1957 as a 1.5 mile (2.4 kms) permanent racing circuit in northwestern Connecticut (New England), near New York. Despite being shorter than other important circuits since its construction, Lime Rock is a very interesting circuit, with fast sweeping turns, a long straight, uphill and downhill, in a very beauty region of northeastern U.S. In more of 60 years, Lime Rock Park is a traditional home for sports cars racing, never hosting a IndyCar or any NASCAR national series races. Since the era of Road Race Championships in late 1950s and early 1960, passing through the era of Trans-Am and IMSA GT races, as well some late Can-Am races, and being a Camel IMSA GTP major event of each year's Memorial Day in late May, the day after the traditional Indianapolis 500, in the 1980s and 1990s. In the 2000s and early 2010s, Lime Rock Park was home of several American Le Mans Series and Rolex Grand-Am Series, coming to the present time as a track in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Series schedule, mainly for GT cars.
This GP2 version is a scenery and cc-line development of Bas van den Heuvel's track made in 1999, and has two versions: without chicane, and with the 2008 revamped chicane (track configuration used by IMSA GTLM and GTD current races).

Other Works : Several :-) (more than 120 in almost 20 years!)

* Construction *
Base : Bas van den Heuvel's Lime Rock Park
Editor(s) used  	: Jam Editor,
		     	  Track Editor,
			  Objecteditor,
			  MS Paint (XP)
Known Bugs : Very few bugs, like some few fences or ribbons flashing.
Build Time : Almost 2 years. I started to change the textures of Bas van den Heuvel's Lime Rock track in early 2018, and after a two year breaking, I resumed the work in early 2020 up to finish.

* Installation *
1.
(if you already have new tracks on the game jump to STEP 2):
patch the game with a util that obliges the game to read the tracks
from the harddisk. These utils are gp2nocd or trakonhd.
Search for one of them on the net and install it. This program will
create a new directory called "circuits": you have to copy there
ALL the 16 track files (F1ct01, F1ct02...........F1ct16)

2.
Place the 'LIMEROCK' directory from the ZIP file into the Gp2 'gamejams' directory.

3.
Please, run Convert.exe to convert the files in JAM files.

4.
Place Lime Rock_Connecticut, USA_2017.dat and Lime Rock (chicane)_Connecticut, USA_2017.dat files in the circuits directory. Slots 13 and 14 was recently tested for both tracks, and run well. Others slots was not tested.

4.
Start Gp2 and drive...........
