Virtual F1 Championship (VF1)
Re: Virtual F1 Championship (VF1)
Benetton is very disappointed about the race result, because the team hoped for much more after the qualifying. "We team don't understand why the Ford engines failed, especially because there where no problems at McLaren..." the team-manager said.
Dallara: It seems there's missing something on everything. Engine, chassis, drivers... Let's see if we'll participate the whole season.

First of all two things:
Very nice team presentations Master. Your work is very nice! And here are some questions I really have: Do you paint the cars on your own? Do you simulate 100% races in GP2?
==================================
Williams: Well, this was a quite dissapointing season start. Although we've won with Nigel the first race and the fact that we are leading the constructor's cc, all those DNF due to failures are very disappointing. The team has to put much work in the car now to improve and come close to the McLarens or Bennetons.
Tyrell: The drivers, espacially Karl, didn't meet the demands we had before the season. We'll need to improve the cars and adjust the chassi with the new engine.

Fondmetal:
Another dissapointment, many work to do, nothing more to say.
Simtek:
It seems that the season could be tougher than expected. Instead of fighting for the midfield the team finds itself struggling for qualify. At least the car survived the race distance this time. The team is still confident for some better results in the following races.

Re: Virtual F1 Championship (VF1)
Benetton was very happy to celebrate the first victory of their number one driver Michael Schumacher! Gerhard Berger as strong 2nd completed the dream for the team. Team-manager FK said: "Finally we were able to convert our speed into a result. I'm convinced we can continue on this level and play a good role in the championship!".
Scuderia Italia team-manager FK was not very happy with the performance of his driver Ivan Capelli. "We expect more from him!" he was quoted. "Pierluigi did a great job once again, I have hopes that he can score some points for us in the further season." All in all the team performed a bit better than in the previous races.

For 1995 I can send you an unfinished FKCMA-set (90% finished I would say) if you want! Only the Pacific is missing (and some smaller sponsors on some cars). Too bad we didn't get it ready...F1-Master wrote:most of the ´93 cars are from the FKCMA-Set (thanx for that GREAT set)....

Re: Virtual F1 Championship (VF1)
Fondmetal:
It seems that the work could be closed at end of this season, the team simply isn`t competitive.
Simtek:
5 DNQs at the last 6 starts is definitaly not what the team initially expected. The goal must now be to be in a race as soon as possible again AND to get out of the morning qualify. The first quarter is over, hopefully it will get better...

Re: Virtual F1 Championship (VF1)
Reached by our microphones, Ferrari manager is totally without words. He did not want to comment this very bad moment for his cars and drivers, which are able only to hardly collect some points.
Lotus press conference
Not really much to say. Car is better than last year's one, but still far away from points.
I do not know if Lotus could afford another year like that...

Re: Virtual F1 Championship (VF1)
McLaren:
We have mixed feeling about the last race. Damon had a great race and scored again a victory, but we have some problems with the car of Mika. We are working on that.
Guys keep up the good work, we are doing well this season.

Sauber
Sauber are pleased to announce new management for their Formula 1 team.
Mr. Jack is the team's new principal and he will be backed up by the mysterious and enigmatic Tyler Durden.
The new boss gave this statement to the media on Wednesday afternoon:
"We are not beautiful and unique snowflakes. Looking at racing however, we believe Sauber are very much on the up and we feel we can hope to hold off Ferrari and attempt to record a magnificent 5th place in the Constructor's championship. We shall not get our hopes up too much but we are confident we can continue on our steady path."
